This deluxe full-size Bagatelle game is handmade in England.
Bagatelle (also known as 'Corinthian') is an old traditional game where players take turns to propel a set number of balls round the board. Various sections of the board are surrounded by brass pins with an opening for the ball to enter.
Each section scores for each ball that ends up in it. The higher the score, the more difficult it is to get the ball into that section.
This high quality Bagatelle set comes complete with brass pins, 10 steel balls and a spring-loaded ball launcher. It also has a felted wooden 'rest' and base to ensure that the board is tilted at the correct angle, and that it does not mark the surface on which it is resting.
